Andy Yee

Policy Analyst, Google Inc.

Andy Yee is a Policy Analyst in Google’s Public Policy and Government Affairs team in Asia Pacific, with a specific focus on Hong Kong and Taiwan. This entails handling copyright, privacy and open Internet policy issues. He is a former researcher at the Political Section of the European Union Delegation to China in Beijing. He has written extensively on China, social media and international relations at Global Voices Online East Asia Forum and openDemocracy . To date, his writing has been mentioned by respected publications including the New York Times and the Guardian . He holds Masters and Bachelor degrees in Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and a Masters in East Asian Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.

 People - Chester Soong

Chester SoongConvener, Internet Security and Privacy Working Group, ISOC HKChester Soong is the Managing Director of Security Consulting Services Ltd. and Managing Consultant of Truxtmaxx Company Ltd. Both companies focus on providing leading edge information security consulting services. He was formerly Director of Certification Services of (ISC)² and still serves as their member of the Asian Advisory Board and Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Executive Writers Bureau (EWB) of region.

Chester graduated from California State University, Fullerton with double majors in Information Systems and Finance. He was the first to pass the CISSP exam in Asia in 1997. He is currently a graduate student at University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law for the Master of Law program with concentration in IT and IP Laws.

Chester is a frequent speaker at various regional conferences and seminars on the topics of IT development and information security. He is the technical advisor (Information Technology and Communications) to the Employees Retraining Board of HKSAR Government. He is an active member of the HTCIA Asia-Pacific Chapter and China Liason Officer of the Information Security and Forensics Society (ISFS) in Hong Kong. He was Chairman of the HKISP Association and helped in liaising with local and international LEAs relating to cybercrime in Hong Kong.

SC LeungChairman, Internet Society Hong KongMr. SC Leung is the Chairperson of the Internet Society Hong Kong. He is working at the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT). SC Leung is very active in the information security and Internet development community. He was the Founding Chairman of Professional Information Security Association. He holds several international designations on information security including CISSP, CISA and CBCP.
