Cyber Security is Everywhere” Graphic Design Contest (15 June – 30 Sept)

The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, Hong Kong Police Force and the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre jointly organise the “Cyber Security is Everywhere” Graphic Design Contest which aims to promote the awareness of information security and adoption of security best practices in the community, and appeal to the public to be vigilant and thereby avoid fall into the trap of criminals.

Category Open Group, Secondary School Group, Primary School Group

There are a champion, a 1st runner-up, a 2nd runner-up and also merit prizes for each group.

Hong Kong Open Source Conference 2015 (HKOSCon) (26, 27 June)

Hong Kong Open Source Conference 2015 (HKOSCon) is the International Tech Conference hosted in Hong Kong, driven by the Open Source Community. HKOSCon is aimed to connect the global Open Source technology and communities.
30 overseas speakers and 20 local speakers will deliver 50 sessions for 2-day 6-track 3rd-year Open Source conference with 20 exhibition booths by vendors and communities. HKOSCon 2015 is free of charge.

Hong Kong Techathon 2015 (3-5 July)

Here in Hong Kong, innovative ambience and entrepreneurial spirit are growing – news of another startup getting a huge sum of investment pops up every now and then. It is therefore an opportune moment to bring talents together and build cool things.

That’s why we have Hong Kong Techathon 2015 (Techathon), where programmers, graphic and product designers, and entrepreneurs work collaboratively over a weekend and come up with ideas and prototypes that are ready for pitching with an opportunity to win startup funding and incubation support.
